Propane Safety Shut-off Valve 642Y

Found this replacement valve.  Still donno if I want to replace it or wait for someone to respond in case they have fixed the issue with not opening.

I thought about replacing mine but ended up just removing it altogether. Many have left the original in place and simply removed the pintle. Six of one...

That device is no longer required ( if it ever was ) and is a PITA.  Take it off and throw it away or like someone else said take it apart and take the pintle out of it.  No biggie.
