Reasonable price for 1993 36 foot 022.

We looked at the above today. It has about 130,000 miles. Has not been driven or maintained in a year or so. Decals are cracking and peeling. Little nicks here and there but exterior otherwise looks good, if faded. Will need all new tires, and full maintenance at least. It seems to run fine and it appears that everything works. Interior is very nice--- newer upholstery, and appliances look good and clean.
What would you be willing to pay for this unit? I really have no clue since it is old and I have seen widely varying prices.
Thank you very much and hope to become an owner soon!
Ellen

What engine does it have and what type of brake system does it have? Like air brakes or hydraulic brakes. How is the roof condition?

Tires will set  you back about 4K and full oil lube change will also be a couple thousand if you do not do it yourself.  Decals and gelcoat are going to be an issue over that time frame as is algae in the tank too.  I think I found it on the web and I see that you can bring the gel coat back with a bit of work. The decals might last a bit longer but you can go all white if you have too.
I do not know the brakes that it has but that is easy to see.

I would think you might have to have the seems on the roof recaulked as well but getting up on the roof can help tell that.  I would get the tires fixed first thing. It is dangerous to drive on them very far or fast and a blowout can be critical and cost a lot.

It's hard to value older Foretravels. I suggest you check PPL (pplmotorhomes.com) and MOT (motorhomesoftexas.com) to get an idea of what they have been selling for. As redtractor posted, the model is important. If you get that info, someone here might be able to take a stab at a valuation.
