KEYFOB

I am looking for a replacement keyfob. I have a Custom Engineered Vehicle Security unit. I looked them up on the NET but no results. Do any of you know if there is a third parity making the Keyfob that is compatible to the Custom Engineered Vehicle Security unit. Thank You For any help.  Karl

I bought mine from foretravel a year or so ago.  About $40 including instructions.

Karl,
If the keyfob is not working take out the batteries and use a pencil eraser end to make sure there is no corosion on the contacts.  A little cleaning and they may just work again.

Thanks for the reply. My Key Fob went for swim. I found it is not water proof. So I need a new one. The only info that I can find is on the receiving unit Custom Engineered Vehicle Security Part #202-3208 S/n 1526928 nothing on the Key Fob. Thanks again  Karl

Hi Karl,

Actually, if you open it up and us a tooth brush to clean the circuit board with 99% isopropyl alcohol, you might find it will work again, probably need a new battery though.
