SmartWeigh at Escapees

We went to Livingston, TX to get our mail. AND to get our FT weighed today.

I didn't think we were heavy, but wanted confirmation.

LF 6310 lbs
RF 6260 - Only 50lbs out of balance! - No action needed

RR 9720
LR 10460 - 740 lbs out of balance - Need to work on this one. The kitchen side is usually the problen child ...

Both axles less than allowable.

Front axle 12570 vs 13880 (I can add 1310 more pounds of crap!)
Rear axle  20180 xs 21000 (I can add 820 more pounds of crap!)

And we've been full-timing for 11 years ...

This is with about 180 gallons of fuel. Empty gray and black water tanks.
And one-half full freshwater tank.

Plus two folks in the FT. Their weights were not available as of this writing ...

Nice folks there. Total cost: $45

Now I can't find the Michelin tire pressure URL.

Heavier end = 105 psi minimum and gives you a little margin

Heavier end = 90 psi.  Make it 95, maybe 100 to allow some margin

Looks like I had the steer tires right at 110psi and duals were high at 95psi

Paul,

All of the tire safety folks recommend inflating 5-10 psi above what's needed for actual weights to account for variations in loading/tank levels.  You are probably right on with both as they were (assuming LRH).

You might have a problem getting on some toll roads if you add more to the rear axle.  I was only 50  pounds different on the rear and 100 on the front.  Hummm might be the passengers. I moved stuff around underneath after my first weighing in my previous coach and in this one I kept the same layout but moved the heavy stuff to the passenger side since I have two sliderooms on the drivers side.

And yes, John, I'm not planning on adding any more weight than I have too. Shifting on the rears, yes.  And removing stuff, too.

But I do have to admit that Bernd's tuneup makes this M11 want to run for the hills even more now that I know I'm not over weight ...
