Save money on a new toilet! :)
If you're considering a new toilet with a hand sprayer you've probably noticed the hand sprayer models cost a lot more and they're always special order cuz nobody has them in stock. Thetford toilets use the same water valve for both the sprayer and non-sprayer models. I don't know if other toilet manufacturers use the same valve for sprayer and non-sprayer models. On the non-sprayer Thetford toilets you can cut off the little tab on the end of the hose barb where the sprayer hose would attach and clamp the hose of your old sprayer on there. You can easily cut the plastic tab with a pair of needle nose pliers or a knife. In the photos below I'm pointing at the tab on the water valve with my needle nose pliers... Congratulations cuz you just saved yourself the extra time and money of special ordering a toilet with a hand sprayer!
