Coach batteries U320 Heat Probe

There's a line item on the spec sheet under Safety Features for my 2001 U320 stating "Heat Probes on Coach Batteries"].  First time noticing this and have no clue what it is.  There's nothing showing that may be related to this on/around my Optima Yellow tops.  Anybody help?

It's on the coach, meaning house, batteries, not the chassis batteries.

I believe it's the yellow thing on the left of the top battery in this photo, says "Xantrex" on it

Thx Michelle for the clarification; my careless mistake.  Where are these probes located?

My 2003 U295 has a temperature probe attached to the negative terminal of one of the house batteries.  The inverter/charger uses this to reduce charge voltage on if the batteries are hot, and charge faster if they are cold.
