My gen set ordeal .

Sometime back I had a gen set failure . The final results of that was , a small piece of gravel got between the rotor and the field which tore out and broke some of the magnets . This caused the Silverleaf to go nuts . Showed high voltage on one leg and low on the other and then switch all around the other way . Took my coach to Cummins Atlantic in Richmond , VA. they found the problem right away , installed a new generator , end of the problem . The cost to me was $4,200.00 + change . I had a gentleman's chit chat with the general manager , who said he would see what he could do to help me . Today I got a check for $2,725.59  which covered the parts .  The gen tech said , "you need to run the hell out of it with a heavy load " so that is what I did this summer and that unit works really good . Cummins Atlantic ---have a good feeling for that company and it's general mgr. :) :) :)              Brad Metzger

I have used cummins atlantic in Roanoke for years. They are stand up guys and go the extra mile for you.... I would change one thing on my coach and that would be an onan generator so I could use them to work on it too.  I have 4274 hours right now on my Powertech so no complaints really
