oven thermostat for Magic Chef gas range?

This is a long shot, but would any of you know where I can purchase a new thermostat for my Magic Chef gas range? The obsolete part number is:  7515P024-60  and it was at one time replaced by part number:  W10125661  which is also unavailable.

If your gas oven occasionally blows its own pilot light out for no apparent reason, put a long match next to the main burner while the oven is off and see if the main burner flickers or poofs and almost lights. This is because the oven thermostat valve isn't closing completely and it's allowing almost enough gas flow to keep the burner lit. The pilot occasionally ignites the tiny bit of leaking gas and causes a poof, which blows the pilot light out about every zillionth time. It makes me kinda paranoid and I'm gonna replace the thermostat on my oven as a result... Unless it's completely unavailable and I have to buy a whole new range? :(

I guess I'll just take that as a no! :P

Okay, next logical question, what are my best options if I do have to replace my gas range, which I believe is a 21" model if I'm measuring it correctly. I definitely can't live without a gas range. I use it all the time, including the oven. I'm not interested in an electric range, a microwave, a convection oven, or anything other than a gas range. I noticed the new gas ranges cost about $500. I'd kinda like a window in the oven door and a 12 volt DC light inside so I don't have to open the door and look in there with a flashlight to check the food. I guess that's not available even on today's ranges. I have no idea why not. Some of the new ranges have spark ignition instead of a standing pilot like mine has. I suppose that might be nice, especially in hot weather, and it might save a tiny bit of gas... Have any of you bought a new RV gas range lately?

Wow, that looks like the correct part. I checked Magic Chef's parts department, Google, eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, my local RV parts place, and even some obsolete stove parts place but didn't find it. It's 1/4 the price of a whole new gas range so now I have to do a reality check to determine if there are any other benefits to getting a new gas range or keeping this one. My gas range is in pretty good condition for being 23 years old. The top burner grates are starting to chip and flake slightly from being in the flame so many years. Other than spark ignition instead of a standing pilot I can't see much difference between my range and the new ones. The new ranges have three burners instead of four. The front burner on the new ranges is more powerful than the rear burners. None of this matters to me. I never use more than two burners at a time and I never need more power. The only improvement I'd like is the aforementioned oven door window and 12 volt DC light inside the oven, but I guess they don't do that on RV ovens for some reason... Thanks for finding this Gary. I'll investigate further and probably order one.

Scott, Call Colaw's Salvage in Carthage, MO and ask for parts, with that part number they may have NOS Stuff.  Also rhey may have a used stove that will be exact fit at a decent price.

I attempted to order that part but they refunded my money. I called them and they said the part wasn't available. :-(

It appears I may be in the market for a new 21" RV gas range. Have any of you folks bought one lately? What are my best options?
