RIP George. you talked to me and assisted me in my Foretravel quest. You were the reason I bought a FT. Always had the time to assist and mentor a novice, and I will truly miss you. God bless those left behind as you are in a better place John

I am shocked and sorry to hear of the loss of George.
I like some of the other members have said here never met George but I enjoyed reading his posts, especially the excellent questions George presented to the forum which always seemed to be about an area I needed to help me in understanding a problem or my new to me coach.
Rest in Peace George.

George's adventures with his NEW FT gave not only a lot of good advice but at times a good laugh.  He really did put a lot into the Motorhoming lifestyle and I am sure that he inspired others.
He is missed.

RIP George. We met many times over the years and he was an avid customer when we sold PressurePro tire monitors and PowerTanks air systems....  An interesting fellow!
I'm sure he is enjoying that great Campground in the Sky!!

George reached out to me well before he bought his coach, seeking to see my U-270 as he was living in NW Chicago in his Barrington IL S&B.
We met then and once again in Meccadoches while he was having some work done on Moose at Xtreme (Delamination on the slide as I recall) and I was at MOT for annual service.
We shared dinner that PM (Sandy, George and I) and I remember how warm and genuine (plus of course opinionated...) he was.
I enjoyed most his starting a thread about some question that no one else would think to ask, and the thread would go on forever.
I should look at his posts and pick a few out, they were really Gems.

I am so happy to have known George and that he and Sandy got to roam this great country in Moose while he was still healthy.

RIP George, the forum is a better place thanks to you and so many others like you.

He just looks like such a sweet man, got that little "twinkle" thing goin' on, & looks a little mischievous to boot, a fine trait in a feller...sending prayers and special wishes for Sandy to be strong and carry on in his spirit.

Sad to hear. Our prayers and condolences to Sandy and all of George's family. We met George after he sold his motorhome and purchased his Blue Ox tow bar. Fortunately George was able to get out on the road and experience this great country and make some great memories.
