Identify this interior part?? (brass plug with o-ring)

   Hello All,
I found this brass plug? on the floor by the drivers seat.
It has an "o" ring on it, and I can't figure out where it came from.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
                  Thanks--Jim

OK, don't know why it would be by the driver's seat BUT

it looks like the decorative plug that covers the mounting screw opening for a towel ring holder or towel bar end.  Or the TP holder.

I agree with Michelle, it is a cover for a screw.  It's either a faucet knob screw cover or a towel rod screw cover.

Thanks for the info, at least now I know where to start looking.
