Inverter.  The "DC to AC" device is called a inverter - the "AC to DC" device is the battery charger/converter.  Took me quite a while to get them straight in my head.

Look in the storage bay, under/behind the entry steps, or in that general area...that's where it is on our coach.  Big black/silver box with some heavy electric cables attached.

Welcome to the group!  Have fun exploring your coach - it is like a treasure hunt!

Might not have one. Our 93 didn't (just a converter).

Look in the driver's side front basement bay (just behind the generator).  If you have a converter (120 VAC to 12 VDC) on the back wall all the way in/near entrance steps, it is unlikely that you have an inverter-- at least from the factory.  You would have either that converter OR an inverter/charger.

The best place to install an inverter/charger, would be in the passenger's side bay just in front of the house battery area (shortest 12 VDC wire run, yet not in the battery compartment).

Good point, Jor (and Brett).  It is not listed as standard equipment:

I assumed since the OP asked, that they probably had a inverter control panel.  Should never assume anything...
