Generator running rough

I ran the generator this morning for about an hour.  I remember it runs no smooth,  but this time I can feel vibrations.  What do would think,  fuel filter,  injectors?  Do I need to take it to a generator specialist?

Tighten the nuts that hold the genset slide tray...works every time.  If that does not work, I suspect air may be getting into the fuel delivery lines.

Good suggestions from Peter especially about the nuts. Also check the rubber mounts. Bad on ours. Have to look from the bottom as the damage/wear is not visible from the top. Air in system usually results in a surging and not vibration but not always.

Good to run a diesel injection cleaner occasionally and then run the generator for a while.
