Wild Wire

Found a wild wire under the foot of the bed. I know it's wild cause it isn't tied to anything....on this end. Piece of Romex with "seven" written on it with a felt tip pen. Any guesses as to what it is, and where the other end may have wandered off to ? The end was taped, I didn't remove the tape to see if it was hot, or not.

WAG....

There's no wire 7 in the 2003 wire listing, but....

in our U320 *IF* something was wired to breaker 7 in the main breaker box, it was an optional instant hot water dispenser.

Perhaps FT prewired for all options?  Is your breaker 7 in use (and what do your schematics say would be connected to it)?  Perhaps check under the kitchen sink for the other end of the Romex.

MaƱana ! Seems odd the the 7 was written out, instead of just #7. I thinkmy drawing is the same as yours. Just finished putting the stuff back under the sink after running Cat V for the battery monitor!

Thanks !
