Won't Stay Level

When our coach (1995 U295) sets for more than a day, the rear of the coach starts to droop and also list.  We suspect that it may be a problem with the HWH air leveling system rather than the air bags, as they were recently replaced.  Wondering if any of you have had a similar experience, and what the fix ended up being.

Still can be air leaks.  Lots of connections when replace, had to take mine back twice to get final without leaks.  I am supposing that your air pressure gauges show drops in pressure?

If you want, trouble shoot the connections with very soapy water, even better seems to be to use that bubble making solution kids use to make bubbles, waving a wand out in the yard.  Check the fittings where hoses go into the air bags.

At least that my problem, and very slow leaks, took some watching.  Be careful is you getting under to do this!  I could access, find mine, without getting under.

Ours did the same thing after replacing the rear air springs.  The problem was the old brass "L" connections - they need to be replaced with new ones, even if it doesn't look like it.  If you didn't do that, I'd start there.

Start with the connections that were broken/remade when the air bags were replaced.  If you didn't have a problem before and you have one now, that is the primary suspect.

Yes, yes, and heck yes!  We had this problem this past spring when FOT replaced our airbags.  One was a massive air leak - so much air leaking a soap bubbled couldn't even form.  It was on the back side of a connection so difficult to find.  Also, one of the connections on ours wasn't pushed in all the way.  Our coach had to be taken to FT production team to find all the leaks that resulted - they replaced the connectors.

Just had my airbags replaced at Bernd Ramspects. He replaced all my leaking connections with DOT sleeved (ferrule) compression fittings. He stated the push fittings, the ones the factory uses, are prone to leak as they age. He stated the compression fittings will keep a seal and are less likely to leak. Because the fittings are so expensive, and these coaches have so many fittings, he suggested to only replace the ones you find leaking. This should stop reoccurring leaks.

THAT explains why my FT stays level!

Bernd replaced my air bags last August.
