RV Control System Vendor

I'm going to go way out on a limb here but maybe someone knows.  Was just at the Tampa super show and I noticed that on all the high end motorhomes, Foretravel, Prevost, American Eagle, pretty much almost all of them used the same primary systems control center.  It's an LCD screen mounted on the wall, about 5" wide.  It has a row of soft buttons down the left side and lets you control air conditioners, heat, genset, aquahot status and other stuff. 

Does anyone know who makes this system or have more information about it? 

I took a picture of it but I haven't uploaded them yet.  If nobody knows what I'm talking about I'll get the picture out and upload it.

I think you are talking about the Silverleaf Total Coach system.

Scroll way down and you should see a picture of the display you saw on the wall.

This thing is neat but it has some proprietary software for each coach builder.  At least that is what Foretravel tells me about ours.

That's it.  I had some conversations with a few folks at the show and there seemed to be some interest in extending the sytem for remote access via cell phone, iphone ipad, etc.  There doesn't seem to be much public info about the system.  If you ever dig into the control modules or back of the screen, it would be great if you took pictures.  I bet some day this system will be the bane of people's existence as they start breaking.  The intellitec controls in our U320 are supposedly custom built for Foretravel so you can't just buy generic parts and reprogram a normal intellitec cpu.

Interesting, it actually looks like the whole thing uses RV CAN bus which is an open standard..  Wow.

Just spent the last couple hours reading about this.  I just can't believe how right this system is.  The whole RV-C concept by RVIA, the manufacturers on board, methodologies and everything is all so fantastic.  I could literally create a box and plug it into the network on an RV that has this system and control anything.  I am so impressed.

Put another way, when your control box at the other end of the screen goes, you'll be able to use another vendor's control box if it exists.  If the screen goes, you could have another one made.  It's all completely interoperable.

RV-Can was released in 2007 and it looks like 2007 was the year.
