Re: 2000 GV320 at PPL in Houston Reply #25 – February 14, 2015, 08:40:25 am After looking @ Barry's site, in 2001 the GV used a 4000 tranny. Would assume similar to the 2000.Larry Quote Selected

Re: 2000 GV320 at PPL in Houston Reply #31 – February 15, 2015, 10:19:33 pm we will see what PPL is willing (and owner) to do as I sent them a cash "as-is" offer this morning but as they have not replied to my previous emails I guess they will not respond to my last one either.JohnH Quote Selected 2 Likes

Only 42' U320's w/3AC's have the 12 KW.Generally, again, post '95 era GV's have the TV above and slightly behind the co-pilot's chair. GV's also lose the storage above the windshield.Haven't seen the coach, but would anticipate the above (and that's what it looks like in the PPL pictures).Neal Quote Selected

Re: 2000 GV320 at PPL in Houston Reply #38 – March 03, 2015, 09:36:15 am It would have to be a 4000 series transmission with that ISM engine.A 3000 series transmission could handle the torque of an ISM. Quote Selected

Re: 2000 GV320 at PPL in Houston Reply #45 – March 03, 2015, 04:15:30 pm PPL.is great for making stupid mistakes on info sheets. I have noticed that a lot on many coaches.Just had a 94 240 GV brought to me so I can change out the charger/converter to the Progressive one to get rid of humming and better charge etc. So even here in Mexico I find work to do on them-amazing!JohnH Quote Selected
Re: 2000 GV320 at PPL in Houston Reply #46 – March 03, 2015, 09:21:33 pm Donna and I were at PPL today and took a quick look at this interesting coach. It is a little rough looking at it. Doesn't look like the bests of care was taken. Partial paint job shows decal ghost where not painted and rubber deterioration were obvious. Carpet stained in several places. Can't speak for the mechanics but if price allowed for a little remodel and you love GV's?..WOW, what a unique coach you would have. Quote Selected

Carpet stained in several places. Can't speak for the mechanics but if price allowed for a little remodel and you love GV's?..WOW, what a unique coach you would have.My big concern would be all of the things you can't see. My philosophy has been that if you can evaluate the previous owner then you can get a good idea of the vehicle you are evaluating. In this case, the previous owner isn't available and it appears as if he/she didn't give the coach the proper care. That would really concern me. Unless I could get the coach at a rock-bottom price, and then had plenty of time, money and patience to bring it up to an acceptable condition I wouldn't buy it. Quote Selected
