Thumbs up for the folks at MOT

Carol and I we taking a leisurely trip from Houston to Casa Grande, AZ last week and were having a wonderful time in Carlsbad, NM when I noticed that our Aux Comp was not shutting off.  After flipping our On/Off switch a number of times and listening and feeling for the leak I found that it was coming from the rear bedroom air bladder.  Yes - that sinking feeling returned.

As usual I went to this forum and started to research as to whether or not a repair could be made.  I recalled a number of threads about that.  Well I found some threads but none described successful repair so I made a couple of calls to FoFum members and they did return the calls and we received great suggestions.  We were advised to contact MOT.  The earliest that they could get us in the schedule was 5 working days from the date I called them.  The repair was completed yesterday.  Can't complain.

The job was completed in one day and cost just about what I thought.  In by 8 and out by 3:30PM.  Great people to do business with and we felt satisfied when the job was completed.  Must admit that they did exceed my expectations.  Nice to have that happen some times.

I also felt/feel a bit guilty that FOT did not get the repair job but the suggestions/recommendation that I have received from fellow forum members have never been wrong and I certainly wanted this repair to be the best it could be.  So I decided MOT.

I do NOT want to rehash the pros and cons of any business and hopefully this posting will not start another one.  Our coach - our decision.

We also looked at a couple of coaches that we liked but decided that our Ol' Girl is in perty good shape and there was nothing there that we could afford that we liked enough to start over again.

Any way we made it to Las Cruces this afternoon this afternoon after some long driving and I am going to cook a steak, baked potatoes and green beans, take a shower, get into bed and hopefully arrive in Casa Grande tomorrow.  Only a week late.

PS - Thank you fellow FoFum members - you know who you are.  ;D  ^.^d

Carol and Scott,

Stop at the local history museum in Deming on your way.  It is well worth a stop a couple hours there, one of the best I have seen,  and it is free.

Yes and another thumbs up for MOT.  They treated us very well.  FOT was swamped and were glad we got in anywhere to get our slide adjusted.  I think both sides of the highway are there for us.

Steve and Michelle -

Thanks so much.  The Ol' Girl was in the bay on the other side of the building and we did leave with the girl what brung us.

There are good reasons that the 98 Newell is selling for 134K and the 2005 Country Coach is selling for 125K.

I am glad you had a good experience.  IT is amazing they fit you in 5 days later.  I have always valued my service relationship with them and this is an example of why.  It is great you're on the road again.  Have fun while I finished my drive home in a blowing snow and the coldest air of the season is coming.  I want to be on the road right now too.
