back running light fuse?

We are near done on our restoration of a 1979 Foretravel.  When switching out the back running lights the wires were accidently touched and the fuse blew. My husband has spent days trying to find this fuse with no luck!  The past owner did a lot of creative wiring!!  Does anyone have a clue where this fuse might be?  We are ready to finally hit the road with "Laverne" but the running lights would be great  :o

Might be a reset breaker up front in the dash. Typical of automotive standards of that era.

By RUNNING lights I assume you mean the marker lights at the top of the front and rear.
Try finding the feed for power at the headlight switch, the switch is two position, first click is PARKING lights, full out is headlight's. Once you find the hot lead you can trace from there.  It May be that there is a fuse at the headlight switch.
Good Luck.

Under the dash panel there should be 2 rows of glass fuses and if I remember correctly one of those fuses is for the running lights. I used a test light to check the fuses and that is a quick way to check them.
