Noisey water pump

Had an issue at the end of season last year with a frozen pipe .
Decided to dewinterize today and last years repairs had shifted a few pipes and insulation and wow , the water pump sounded like a jack hammer . Pulled the pump out , cut up the DW  spare yoga mat to make a base for the pump ( should have asked !!) , reinsulated pipes , better but not great .
The good news is that I can't accompany her to yoga !!

SO, is Jimmy in TIME OUT?

Do you have flexible hose on inlet and outlet?  If not, those rigid plastic hoses are great sound transmitters.

I haven't really owned up yet !
Yes I have flexible connections but I think the may be too long , going to have another look tomorrow and adjust tension on pump feet

My guess is you better save the remainder of that mat as you may need it to sleep on!!

"Do you have flexible hose on inlet and outlet?" Hmmm, that's a good idea.
