Deflate the slide out air seal

I have a 2001 u320 and am stuck at the campsite.  I can't get the slide out air seal to deflate and get the slide out in . Any ideas?  Thanks!

James, does your aux compressor come on when you turn the room key to deflate the slide?  If it doesn't, check for its fuse or breaker.  The aux compressor helps create the vacuum needed to deflate the bladder.

If the compressor does come on, can you describe more what you're seeing at the room control panel?  When you turn the key does the amber light start flashing at all?  Does it just not stop flashing?

I had a similar problem, very slow deflation.  HWH replaced a valve.  But before they did, if the coach engine was on and air pressure at operating levels, turning the key to deflate the bladder would get it to deflate. With the new valve, it deflates promptly in any case.  HTH Roger

Your 01 does not use a pressure gauge but a time sensor. IF it will not come in it is not because it is not reading a deflated bladder.  You can run an 01 in and out without waiting for the bladder to deflate.  I would not recommend it but to get it in and get it fixed, then do it. I wish I saw this sooner. I have totally taken apart my slide many times and have the engineer at HWH direct dial number, when I was having so many problems.  He figured it out though, it was a steel screw where a brass one should have been.

Also you need to have your key on to get the slide to work.

If you have to bring the room in and the bladder is not fully deflated it will squeal when you do.  When we were having a slow deflate problem I would use a spray bottle with soapy water and wet down the sides, top and bottom of the slide as well as I could.  Much less squealing.  Probably a temporary aide until you get it fixed.  Might save your bladder.  Roger
