Re: Repair on torsilastic suspension?
I am very familiar with the Torsilastic Suspension. I worked closely with Ralph Andrews (Pioneer Metals) and the engineers at B.F. Goodrich Aerospace Division who made the suspension to do some fine-tuning.
What bushings are worn out.
Suggest you measure RIDE HEIGHT at all wheel positions and count number of shims at each location. Ride height is measured from the flat area that forms the roof of the wheel wells BEHIND each wheel. Spec is 32-33" from that shelf to the ground. Pretty easy to identify because it is the only location anywhere near that dimension. I have seen ride heights as low as 28" in the rear which causes all kinds of suspension and transmission issues.
