I received one from him too. Maybe he picked up a membership directory somewhere and pulled email address from it.

I also received that email. I believe he got our emails from Foretravel Motorcader. He is not in the current book but was in a earlier version.

Interesting letter. I wonder why he is sending it to individuals and not posting it on our forum or on any of the other RV forums I have visited. I do not doubt he could have had an issue but wonder about the approach.

Sorry if this belongs in a different section.

Just got an email that appears to have been sent to multiple people with the subject " Mold in our 2013 IH45 Foretravel RV" from a John DiSalvatore . It describes a problem he is having and says the purpose of the email is to "open up a line of communication should any of you suffer from the same ... circumstances..." He includes a reference to his business.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has got this email.

I got it a couple hours ago & passed it on to only one forum member....link to his biz checks out...sounds like he may be trying to get a class action suit together.....very strange....

I guess I appreciate the information, but I question the motive. For a problem of this magnitude, I believe he should concentrate his efforts with the manufacturer. I sincerely wish him good luck.

I got it too. He claims to have purchased it new in June of 2013. He doesn't appear to be a Forum member. Probably just now coming out of warranty. Sorry to hear about his family's health issues. I deleted it forthwith. Lets move on. Roger

I never gave the Motorcade Club a thought, but that is probably the source. I originally thought maybe through the Good Sam Club, (I am a LONG TIME member over there, membership #4407) but my email is blocked there and my coach is listed simply as a class A motorhome.

I too wonder about his motive.......

It sounds like an attempt at a class action suit to me. How exactly does a manufacturer create a mold problem?

Design/Construction defects resulting in leaks and/or improper/inadequate ventilation.

I agree. I got then email too, and have been a Motorcade member for years.

Likely the Motorcade Club directory. It's happened once before when the Country Coach travel club sent out e-mails to Foretravel owners (one of their members was also a MC club member). Easy to figure out when folks who didn't have their e-mail address in the directory didn't get the e-mail. Dumb Q? Why I am getting the Country Coach newsletter in my Email

Our e-mail isn't in the directory and we didn't get Mr. DiSalvatore's note.

A number of years ago, there was a fellow at Camp Foretravel with a serious mold problem that was giving him and Foretravel a fit. He was an engineer from the northwest, as I recall. It is my recollection that Foretravel finally replaced his coach. Anyone else remember this scenario?
