Charger/invertor

Thinking about a new charger/invertor, anyone having a direction would be appreciated. I currently have a charger mounted in the bay. The invertor went out.

I am sure that you will get lot's of suggestions.

We replaced our Prosine 2.0 with a Magnum 2812 based on a FoFum member's recommendation and a bit of research.  MS Series Inverter/Charger - Magnum Energy, Inc.

We also installed the ARC 50 Remote that lives inside by the power monitor.  We removed the old Prosine and replaced it with the Magnum ourselves.  Not too difficult.  Carol read the instructions and I twisted the wrench.  ;D

So far so good.

If you use the search button in the top right corner and search this topic I would guess that you will have enough reading material for the night.

Good luck,

Thanks for the information. I'm trying to add up how much wattage I think I will need and how much capacity I have. Do not have an electrician's expertise. I'll get there sooner or later.

As a  part of your shopping exercise, I would recommend a visit to BestConverter - Converters, Inverters, Electrical Supplies, Electronics  Randy, the owner, is very helpful and has a good understanding of RV systems.  He is quick to answer email and phone inquiries.  He carries several different brands, and (if you ask) will recommend what he thinks would work well for your situation.  I bought a Powermax charger/converter from him - the shipping was quick and the price was very competitive.  I have been 100% satisfied with my purchase.

Disclaimer: I have no connection to this business, and do not profit in any way from this recommendation.

Randy also sells Pressure Pro TPMS via PressurePro Tire Pressure Monitoring System TPMS Pressure Pro. I bought a Pressure Pro set from him and got excellent personal service.
