TV Upgrade

Good morning!

Finally upgraded our TV and satellite system in the coach. Decided to go the cabinet cut down route to install the 32" TV in the living area rather than the more extensive project relocating the TV to the middle.  Worked with David and Luke at FOT, they were awesome to work with and the finished product was excellent.  Love working with perfectionists on projects like this!

I have attached a few pictures.  Sorry, no before pics, however y'all know what it looked like.

Safe Travels!

We just pulled our TVs in prep for flat screen install. Interested in how you did the mounting in the front cabinet.

Hi Alan,

Lots of good ways to do this. I removed the cabinet where the original tv was and the one to the left.  There are two vertical aluminium tubes behind thes in the overhead space. I mounted a plywood panel between them, a tv mount to that and the 39" TV on the mount.  I can move the TV towards the back of the coach about 8-10" and towards the pass side about 6".  Closed up in travel position it rarely moves, only on really rough roads.

It is worth the time to clean up the wiring up there too.  I rewired outlets (and added extras) up there to be switched so that I can shut everything up there off with one switch.
