Gen set does not want to shut down?

Good morning, We have been boon docking here in Miles City Montana at the Stock yards for the last few weeks helping out the owners who had a fire that destroyed the sale barn, anyway been running the Gen for AC and last night after running for about 4 hrs went to shut it down from the remotes and nothing had to go out and flip the control switch. We have a onan 7.5 diesel. any thoughts ? could it be getting to hot?  temps are in the high 80's.

Andy, this just a guess that the fuel shut off solenoid is not working.
 I should have gone back and read the post again, my bad.

Since you can stop it with the switch on the control panel indicates all is well that far, so would be looking at wiring between the control and the switch inside the coach, would guess a bad switch.
