Six pole connector

Left turn on the toad stopped working. The bottom right pin on the six pole connector gets no signal when the left turn signal on the coach is flashing. It's a Cole Hersee connector, believe #1235. How do I get in to check the connections?

Cole Hersee says the interior is replaceable so case must open. There are white wires, one red wire and one green wire going into the connector. Don't have schematics so don't know which is left turn wire  and don't know whether this wire comes from coach left turn signal or from elsewhere. The wires into the connector are all spliced into a bundle in the engine bay. Suggestions?

Mike,

Remove the fixture from the coach by removing the two mounting bolts.  With fixture in hand, rotate it till you see the small philips head set screw that holds the socket in place.  With set screw removed, push on wires forcing the socket out the end as you hold the spring door open.  Wires are held in by more set screws and easy to repair.

Thanks for the guidance, had examined the shell many times, always missed that set screw. On ours it's a slotted screw and, unfortunately, it spins freely in both directions.

Looks like using the dvm probes to identify each wire, cutting the old connector off, rewiring to a new connector. Visit to NAPA tomorrow.

Mike, in your Foretravel book in the schematic section you should have one page with that plug showing the wiring placement.

Coach didn't get to me with a manual. FOT wanted $400 to put one together. Mike  Harbordt and Barry Brideau found one for me, but no schematics.

James Triana sends me schematics as I need them, can't send the whole package without that full charge. Company policy.

Howdy Mike,
Sorry, I'm slow posting on this..  Attached is .pdf that has pin-out for the trailer wiring plugs.  Supposed to be for a 2000, but probably works for your 2001.
