GE F8T5 WW flourecentbulbs.. amazon

I found these cool white on Amazon for 1.70 each..  that sounds like a pretty good price..

GE 10059 - F8T5/CW - T5 Linear Fluorescent Tube -4100K

They are GE's instead of a no name..  but they are cool whites. GE-F8T5CW  instead of GE-F8T5WW which I assume means white whites? that I have in mine.    I have a ton of these out in my coach... darkened ends on the bulbs..  sure, it's possible the ballast are bad in some, but am hoping it's just a bulb problem..

I know there are LED alternatives..  just don't have the money now for them..  would be nice to just change these out  and be done with them for a while..

I see there are different lengths on some of these.. as to why I am thinking to stay with the exact existing brand.. I will put a tape measure on mine to double check and compare to their specs..

I don't remember the price.... but seems Lowes and Home depot were a higher cost than these..

Thoughts?

Thanks,

CW = Cool White  (whiter white, less yellow)
WW = Warm White (more of a yellowish tinge)

Those are very good prices for the bulbs.  I use to use them in my MH.  They are very white, which also means whiter than the warm colors.  Good for old eyes.

That is a good price!  I recommend you buy some spares - they don't seem to last very long in our coach.  :'(

Our GV uses 3 different fluorescent tube sizes:  F8T5, F13T5 and F15T8.  Yours is probably the same.  I like CW - they work better for reading.

Thanks for the input everyone...  looks like CW it is...    and there I go assuming again..  I was thinking all the bulbs were the same in the coach.  I'll need to take another look...

I am converting my lights to LED.  I have some almost new warm whites and some older cool whites (I think).

I will sell them to anyone cheaper than this. IE FREE!  Just pay shipping.
