Hi S/W Houston,

Plast Aid undoubtedly is identical to Fastray and Formatray used in the dental industry to form custom impression trays. It is a methyl-methacrylate monamer/ liquid and powdered plastic resin. I've used it for hundreds of small repairs and to make missing parts.

Good stuff to have on hand. With my dental plastic, duct tape and coat hanger wire I can make or repair darn near anything. Well, long enough for a real repair.

Would the Dental resin be easier to work with than a fiberglass resin with shaved fiberglass mixed in?

Lon.,

Maybe, but I doubt it will bond with fiberglass.
