Toad wiring problem

Hi everyone.  I am setting up my new 2002 Foretravel for towing and discovered  I have no brake wire running to the "body mount style connector"  The ground, running lights, and left and right turn lights are wired properly.  Where can I find the connector for the brake lights and run a wire to the body mount connector?  Thanks Ken

Ken, do you have the white FT owners manual?  If so near the back there is a section on trailer connections and a section irh a list of all the wires, what number they are and what they are used for.  The wires are numbered every 8-10 inches or so.

If you don't have it let me know and I will find it.  i have a 2001 so it might be a bit different.

If you are looking for a wire for a brake controller, you will have to use one of the extra wires

Both the toads I wired have just needed ground, right, tail, left.

When the brake lights are on it just activates left and right turn at the same time.

Now as mentioned if we are talking electric brakes, then you need something else.

My setup in that case has a brake controller on the dash, extra wire used going back, and all wired into an additional 7 pin plug on the back.

Thanks for the advice, silly me  I wired up according to the pin locations based on the diagram the Foretravel put in their manual.  I will have to do a bit of rewiring for the toad now,  no big deal  Just have to change the connections on the diodes in the toad.
