6V92 batteries

Just wondering what batteries are being used in the GV with a 6v92? I have three batteries in parallel and the engine doesn't really seem like it turns over fast enough.  Boost button and it spins over much quicker. Each battery is a group 34 CCA 1020 @ 32f 850 @ 0f and fully charged.

How old are the batteries? Have you had then load tested to see if there might be a weak one? Also could be bad connections

Bad batteries or bad terminal connectors. We have three 34 series batteries five years old now and it turns over very fast even down in the teens. I never use the boost solenoid. Pull connectors and check each battery. Check charging voltage at the batteries. Inspect alt belts. Only install in pairs.

Check my old post for cleaning cable ends and using stainless fasteners on the connectors. I also installed an extra ground cable to a close ground point. Military battery terminals are a good upgrade and cheap too. Just get rid of the cad/zinc plated fasteners and use stainless.

Installed Autozone Duralast batteries when we bought it in N.C. Just under $300 for all three 5 years ago.  31 series would be a good choice also. Not about to waste money on expensive red or yellow top batts.

The batteries were installed in March by the PO.  I had a problem a month or so ago which turned out to be a loose battery connection discovered after I took the batteries out to have the tested.  They checked out fine.  The SS idea I will try..

OK, here are the photos. I melted one connector shown below in Yellowstone with the temp in the teens and no block heater. Started but made molten lead doing it.
