Air Schematic-2001 U320 40' #5798

I recently pick up a 2001 U320 40' and I'm in the process of chasing air leaks. Does anyone on here have a Schematic B-2254 in a PDF? I've seen the pictures on site here and it's helpful but it doesn't print so well.

Willy,
Here you go.  Chasing leaks is always fun.  I threw in an HWH slide manual for the 2001s as well.  I have the same coach in a 36' size.  Did you get the big white FT User's Manual?  Lots of these diagrams are in the back.  Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Thank you so much and yes I got all the manuals but this one was missing. Hope I can resolve the slow leaks this weekend if it doesn't rain and move on to the Zip Dee awning.
Again thanks

The Aux Compressor has two air lines off it, one mark 57 and the other one has no markings. The B-2254 schematic shows a 76 &75 off the compressor. My question does anyone know what line # it is and being only one air  line beside 57 air line is there a air tank, tee or manifold somewhere? I install a gauge and ball valve so I know there is a air leak with this unmark air line somewhere.

Willy,
There is one line out of the compressor head that goes to water separator then to a check valve then to a four way fitting.
One side goes to pressure switch - pump on/off.
One side goes to line 75 which goes to the slide seal tank.
One side goes to line 57 which goes to the suspensions and to line 76 which goes to the wet tank.

The schematics and the real world often look different.  You sort of have to follow functions.

There have been cases reoorted here where check valves have been installed opposite from what the schematic shows.  Check valves can leak.  Ride hight control valves can leak.  Some folks have had to he tank drain valves leak.  It is not just the fittings and connections, components fail as well.  There are several pressure regulators.  A little moisture in the air and these an corode and get stuck and leak.  So many places to check, so little time.  Good hunting.

Roger, everything on the aux compressor assembly is new including the compressor check valve, water separator and compressor with a new desiccant filter in which it didn't have, also line 57 has a new check valve which is holding pressure well (I added ball valves and gauge to isolate each air line). The unmarked air line I guess is 75 is losing pressure so it's my main problem. Can you tell me where the slide air tank is located and any purge valves ? I'll start isolating each component until I find the problem tomorrow.

Willy, I am pretty sure the slide tank is up front behind the generator box.  I'll try to find a picture. I think this is it.  The small tank. I can look again tomorrow.

Willy, I posted a photo of the three tanks you have in alternate thread about he Aux Compressor.  It includes a few other items that may be of interest.

I need to pull that thread up and update it, so watch for that shortly

Oops for got to report here too Willy, as Roger says.....the third tank is tucked up right by the rear of the generator.  It is the longer, smaller diameter tank, on mine.  The other two tanks are shorter but fatter.

If you have a check valve leak it can let the aux compressor try to air up the two main tanks.  Been there.  In that case the aux runs frequently and can go way too long to try to bring the main tanks up to pressure.  Not read all your details to know if that an option.

I ran the drain lines over to the fender for easier access, shown in there other post Aux Generator, 82 psi, thread

Well today I found and repair all my air leaks except one, the slide bladder. I isolate the fitting behind the front driver side wheel well where the bladder tube comes out and was able to confirm the slow leak rate.
I guess now I need to start the process in how best to replace it.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Willy,

You might want to put your coach in your signature, since different year coaches have different challenges when it comes to replacing the slide bladder.  (and having that info in your signature makes it easier for folks to provide answers to questions in the future).

Your first post mentioned a 2001.  I believe the slide has to come out of the coach to replace the bladder in that year.  John S would know for sure since he owns a 2001 as well.

Willy,  if it is a small hole try AquaSeal.  It has worked for some folks when you can get to the hole.

What did you do to your coach today IV

AquaSeal is available at Amazon.  Less than $10.

Yup, on a 2001 the slide comes out and the bladder is replaced.  It is not as bad as it sounds.  MOT does them frequently.

I won't be happy until this is fix right so I am in the mind set to have it replace. Does anyone know a good place on the west coast to replace this bladder or is it some best left done in Texas?

A temporary fix keeps you sealed up. Hatchet has been going on his AquaSeal fix for about three months.

Not sure about a west coast seal replacement option.  FOT or MOT are likely to have the seal on hand.  HWH in Iowa can fix it too but they may not have the seal on hand.

They have to pull out the slide room on an 01 so you need to find a big shop that can handle it. I understand that FT has a relationship with Country Coach on the west coast and maybe a member will chime in if they had theirs done out there.
