Xantrex settings?

I need help with the Xantrex inverter settings please.    Coach has a freedom 3000 charger/inverter.  Photo shows current setting:

Just purchased and installed 3 new lifeline 8D agm batteries.    Not sure what MAH I should input into controller?  What is the Amp share setting?  Only plugged into a 120v 20a circuit at home.

While plugged in, can't get any 120V devices (TV, Microwave, Bose radio) to turn on.

Please let me know what I need to have for proper controller settings and how to get 120v device to operate without running Generator.  Or am I missing something?

Tom, all the items you mentioned are powered thru the inverter sub panel.  Make sure you are getting power to that panel.  I recently had to replace the transfer switch because all those circuits were dead.

I have the same invertor and set the power share to 30 amps. Multiply your ah of the battery by three and set the amp hour rating for that setting. I am plugged in to a 20 amp cord at home but when you use the gen you want to be able to take advantage of its amps. All of my 120 will work except the air cond. while using the 20 amp charging at home

Thank you!!

Checked the panel and yes, the breakers were off.  Maybe I hit them last night replacing fuel lift pump.

I will increase amp share to 20A on the controller!

Thanks again.

Power share to 20 amps will mean you cant run anything but the charger off your 20 amp outlet. block heater, space heater, etc could pop the breaker if its charging at full power.

I have my power share set to 12 amps when plugged into a normal household outlet so nothing melts. I increase it to 30 when boondocking and running the generator for short charge periods.

Lifelines say 255ah each, so 765ah would seem the proper setting for three.

A power share of 5 is just fine UNLESS you are running the generator to charge the batteries.

That limits the amount of 120 VAC that can be used for charging to 5 amps OF 120VAC.  That is plenty.

Battery amp hours= individual 12 VDC battery amp-hrs times number of batteries. So 255 times 3= 765. Round to nearest available setting of you can't get it to that exact setting.

The power share of 5amp should be fine to charge if you are using a 15amp plug...or using 30amp plug but want to run A/C or other high load devices. It limits the amount of AC current that the charger will draw.

765ah seems too be the correct setting.
