VMSPC Going wonky

The display for me Instant mpg & Recent are displaying the exact same numbers. It just started displaying this foolish mess.
Any ideas ?

Hi Dave,

Is the recent mpg changing as frequently as the instant mpg?  There is a setting for the time duration for the recent mpg which is a moving average sort of thing. 

The total fuel on mine is wonky.  Screws up miles to empty but everything else still works. 

Engine off, pc off, disconnect usb cable from pc, disconnect cable to data port.  Pc on, reconnect data cable ignition on, reconnect USB cable, driver will reinstall, VMSpc on.  See what happens.

Gave it a try this AM, seems to be working, more after I drive a few miles.

Ok, back to 8.7. Recent, IMPG various.  Looking normal.!
