2001 U320 dash fan switch sparking

While driving with dash AC/Heat fan switch on low, it started to smoke and arching. I immediately turned off the unit. OK after that.

I suppose the fan switch is need of replacement? Not a good feeling when going down the road and smoke starts to come out!!

These switches look like a Ford product. Can anyone confirm?  I looked on Barry's list and could not locate.

Thanks for your help.

You should be able to remove the switch and look for the FOMOCO part number, or take it to your local auto parts store
and have the parts guy/gal match it up for you.

You can also call Victory Climate Systems for the part number;
