Window Frame Separating

The frame member you push against to open the side widow in our 2003 U-320 has come loose from the glass.  This happened once before but we were able to tap it back in place.  Since the duo-pane window is fine otherwise, which would be the best sealant to reattach the frame member to the glass?

I'd probably use a thin bead of 3M 5200, black. I am guessing that the frame can still be "tapped" back on the window ? Remember, 5200 takes a week to cure.

Actually a good silicone works well too. I have done that on one of mine a few years ago and it is still good.
