Audit 760 monitor adjustments

DO NOT PERFORM ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE MONITOR UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH 30,000 VOLTS.  USE INSULATED ADJUSTMENT TOOLS, NOT METAL SCREW DRIVERS.

There are a total of seven pots that can be adjusted on this monitor.  Vertical Linearity, Height, Vertical Frequency, Focus, Horizontal Frequency, Brightness, and Contrast.

As you are facing the monitor, the first three are on the right hand side, the next two on the left side and the brightness and contrast at the back.  In order to access them you must remove the monitor from the dash (six screws) then remove the two screws at the back of the cover to remove the power supply and then slide the cover off.  The layout of the dash on my GV is such that the monitor must sit on top of the dash to allow access to the pots on the sides.

After going to the trouble to try to fix a problem with the display not showing the bottom third, the monitor decided that it would no longer provide enough brightness to see anything and yes, the brightness control was turned all the way up.

Ours is an 8t8, and I just replaced the CRT a couple weeks ago. You probably know more about the system than I do, but replacing the CRT on ours was a pretty straightforward process. I have tons of pictures etc, just haven't gotten the time to finish writing up the process. I also still have the 8t8 CRT if that would be at all helpful for you?
