Create some extra space

I think most would agree that the jack-knife sofa bed is not the best for two people sleeping. I was able to make my dining table removable by first removing the the top. If you un-latch it, it slides off. Next I  removed the cantilever arm and installed a metal bracket , relocated the 110 outlet and then drilled the arm to install a roll pin that holds the arm on the bracket. As you can see it creates a lot of space for another portable bed, chair etc.

Excellent mod!  Were you surprised at how HEAVY that little round table is?  I was, when we removed ours.  :o
