Two boxes from Tom just delivered by UPS!  Now it's time for Jeannie and I to get to work.  I will report in late tomorrow and let you know how we did with the mailing.

Yes, we know.  We keep trying to put her on a diet, but it doesn't work (for her OR us).  She just went to the Doggie Beauty Parlor yesterday, and got her "summer" clip, which makes her legs look a lot "skinnier" than normal.  She is a well-rounded dog!  8)

Project Update

Thanks to a herculean effort by me and my able crew (Jeannie & Bella), we were able to get all 60 boxes packed last night and this morning.  We just returned from the Post Office where we got them all mailed.  Pretty much tied up one mail clerk for over an hour, but the lobby was almost empty (fortunately) so at least we weren't holding up a long line of irate customers.  The total bill for the mailing came to $561.70  :o

Jeannie and I took great pains to ensure each box contained the correct number of items.  Tom had divided up the plungers, springs and O-rings into sets before he sent them to me.  We checked each package of plungers and springs for the correct count (6 each).  I did not count the O-rings in every bag, because it would have delayed shipping too long.  I did check every 10th bag of O-rings, and they were right, so I trusted Tom on the contents of the rest of the bags.

When you get your package, check the contents carefully.  I am sure they will be correct, but I am also sure I am fallible.  If you are missing anything, let me know.  I have plenty of extra O-rings from my own personal purchase when I started this project, so I could easily replace any missing O-rings.  The rest of the items I am 99.9% sure will be correct.

The next step will be for me to send each member on my order list a PM, which will include your tracking number.  It will take me a day and a half or so to get all these PMs sent, because I can only send 6 per hour (ForeForum rules).  But you should have your tracking info before the weekend is out.  The expected delivery date on all these boxes is Monday 05/02/16.

When you receive your package, if all is correct (or even more so if not), I would appreciate a quick PM telling me it arrived.  I will check off your name on my master order list as I get acknowledgement of receipt.  Once everybody's name is checked, I'm DONE!  8)

What a terrific story! There are so many steps involved to get this collection of assemblies thru production, order entry and delivery! That would make a fabulous article. Thanks for the great legwork! Paul

Just think of all the group buy things Bella, Jeannie, and Chuck could coordinate in their spare time for the forum members. 

Thinking out side the box now, but how about AC units, satellite units, lug nut covers, tail lights or head lights, LED clearance lights?  How about spare filter bulk sales?  The list of upgrades, or maintance items is almost endless to fill their time. 

And of course I extend my thanks for a job, well done.
