Turn signal issues, blowing fuses right side only???

I need some help and/or advise on this one. I'm on the road and my right side turn signal blows a fuse every time I try to use it, left side is good unless I accidentally hit the right side turn signal and then they are both out until I replace the offending blown fuse. I had thought that I might have done something wrong when installing my camera system but I did not cut or change any lines as I used only the existing power source for the install. When I stopped for the night in Oregon I completely disconnected the camera system and still no luck. It is acting like a dead short someplace and I need to get this fixed for road safety. I'm presently in Yuba City, CA if anyone knows of a reliable shop to go to it would be much appreciated. I had the coach serviced just before we took off so it may be something related to that, but I'm not sure. Also, when I use the 4 way flasher it also blows it's fuse as the turn signals are tied in with the 4 way flasher. I'm hoping to find someone to diagnose and repair the problem as I have tried for about 10 hours myself and no luck. Unfortunately, I had passed Quality Coach in Oregon but may have to return if I can't get this fixed here. We are heading to New Mexico if this gets resolved. Any insight or help will be much appreciated! I can also be reach on my cell at 360-820-8565.

Did you recently move the arm for the mirror on the right side?  If so you might look at the wires in the arm through the hole under the arm and reposition them to see if this helps,  I had the same problem and this solved it for me.

Thanks Jason on your reply but I have not touch the rear view mirror in about a year other than washing them. I'll go take a look anyway as I have looked at everything else as far as I can.

Maybe someone replaced a bulb with the incorrect one might check all of them also the circuit board to the rear light may be bad if you have a side light might also check it does it do it with the tow vehicle unhooked?

I would sure start by removing the lenses on that side front and back.  Check for water, dirt, etc.

Another alternative would be to consult your wiring diagram and unplug the rear gang plug-- see if it still blows the fuse. In the back of my mind, I recall that plug is on the driver's side rear.

My bet is on a bad bulb. Remove the each bulb and see if that corrects the problem. I always start with the simplest posiblity and go from there.

Hey Gang, what about the plug for his car dolly? Possibly wire shorting out inside? The right turn is usually at the 3 PM position. Plugging and unplugging may have created a problem.
Does it happen when the towed is plugged into the coach only? Short in the dolly wiring?
Just throwing up things that really created problems for us when our boat trailer wiring shorted the pickup and our old class C.
Try the turn signals with the dolly disconnected from the coach.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas and help. I lost my internet connection earlier when my cell phone battery died. I will be picking up some new bulbs in the morning plus doing all the checks mentioned by all. I have done all the checks at the power end by disconnecting the wiring harness connectors to verify it is not something major and also disconnected my tow dolly connector to rule out that end. My lights are dry as the day they left the factory and the die electric grease is on all connections as of 2 years prior. I do have reservations on the bulbs and possibly the circuit board on the rear tail lights. I'll let you know how I fair tomorrow. Thanks all as it is a vacation saver and to have a good tool kit. The best tool though is the great resource of the Fore Forum and the people there-in.

A great burden has been lifted knowing help is close by!

Update on signals,

I tracked the wire problem to a forward/aft running turn signal wire (green). I pulled the pin out of the front connector by the steering column, so now I have front right and right side turn signals. The question now is, did Foretravel run any spare wires to the aft compartment back in '94? If so I can easily do a bypass and get back on the road until I get home a then get it all dealt with properly but save the vacation. I tried all new bulbs and tried the connectors but to no avail. With the connectors apart it was still giving me an audible ground reading on my meter, so at this point I'll just try to bypass it. If anyone knows where any spare wires might be it would certainly help! Thanks for all your help so far!

Last update,

I checked the previous posts and one popped up by Pierce Stewart as to the location of the spare wires fore/aft. Put my signal generator on at the rear, found the correct wire, made the connections, and tested the lights, home run! Thanks for all the help everyone as even the most remote comment was a help in just knowing someone was there to try to help to get us back on the road. The ForeForum is indispensable in what can be accomplished by the owners commenting and posting their findings. Thanks to all!

Aren't our old coaches great!! Seems like Foretravel anticipated things happening down the years and provided alternatives for us to fix the problems.
