AC outlet BR night table

Anyone install AC outlet(s) at the BR night tables?  Never could understand why FT didn't do it?  Looking for the easiest source  to  originate and route the power wires to the end points.

Are you sure you don't have one hidden down low between the bed and the night stand drawers. We have them on both sides of our bed.

I thought the same thing...where's the receptacles...a flashlight in hand ...and on knees ...found them...one on bed base and other on small space between bed and drawers as stated in last response.

Fiddler, they are there. Some hunting required behind the base curtain.

I have added other outlets though.  They crimp on to the Romex cable.  Pretty neat.

Fiddler, there is probably another under the hole on the passenger side nightstand, access by removing top drawer.

Thx all for your prompt replies; poked around carefully and no outlets found.    However, there are outlets under and at the foot of the bed powering the Bose speakers there.  I guess I'll tap into one of those and try to find a clear path to install convenient to each of the night tables.  Having the same coach,  any tips on this Roger?  or anyone?

Fiddler, I will look in the morning.  Only 4 build numbers different.  Tapping into the crimp-on outlets can be done but is not that easy.  Easier to just come off a low load circuit breaker and run romex to the bed side table and add a new outlet.

We're all amazed to hear you have no exposed duplex boxes.  Guess maybe another unique custom delete option choice?  Our 93 had a set on the bed side walls near the foot of the bed.  Our present coach has then on the cabinet front facing wall of the bedside drawer unit.

But in both coaches we have added power strips on 2' or 3' cords.  We needed the extra outlets for, the electric blanket, shelf top Bose radio, 2 phone chargers, and net book power cords, and other misc things.  The power outlet cords can lay on the side of the bed in the small recessed area under the bed platform.  Our's were or are now hidden by the custom shoe bag system hanging on either side of the bed platform.

Fiddler, just to make sure you are looking in the right spots...  And the phone jack on the driver's side as well. I also included the 110v wiring diagram that shows the L and R bedside nightstand outlets on circuit#1 on the smaller circuit breaker panel.

These are inverter powered circuits (when you are not plugged in or the gen is not running) so the total loads here cannot exceed your inverter capacity.

I am not at all sure where the 110v wiring back to the nightstands is run.  I can hunt if you need me to.

My 96 U270 did not have any outlets at the night stand.  I added one on each side when I redid the engine compartment insulation.  the wiring is behind the insulation, but that is not necessary.  I think I ran wire from the CB box connected to the inverter, as without generator or shore power the outlets at the foot of the bed don't work.

If you are running romex inside the engine box you probably should use waterproof or underground feed cable.  It is usually gray and has a heavier cover.  Interior romex is for interior, weather protected use.

Our coach also only has outlets on side of bed, near the foot, next to speakers.

We just ran an extension cord in a Lowe's plastic cable run that is fastened to the side of the bed base.  With cord plugged into the outlet on the side of the bed next to the speaker, and the outlet-end of the cord on the night stand.
