Advice/info on 2000 U270 34'

Can any of you offer buying advice on a 2000 U270 34' no slide. Are there good, bad, and ugly things about this model or should be a pretty solid choice for first Class A and First Foretravel?

At 17 years old, it could be a GEM or a DOG.  As with any machine that age, it's "care and feeding" through the years will have a material impact on its value and even on the buy/don't buy decision.

I have inspected that age Foretravels what were in excellent shape, and those I would not tough with a 10' pole.

I plan to drive up to Bartlesville (about an hour away) tomorrow to eyeball this critter. Since I have the same year in a 40' version, I expect to be able to gain a good idea of its condition, at least from an owner perspective.

I leave inspections to Brett, who has already taught me more than I can remember about the process.

Will let y'all know what I discover.

This is the unit I'm hoping to buy if it is as advertised.  I was originally going to buy a 90s model GV, but upon the advice of forum, I have waited for just a coach as this!  If you do get to see it, please share any info, also if you have reliable inspector in the area, let me know that too!

JW,

I do know one of the "top five diesel engine mechanics in the country", but I will never let him touch my Foretravel again!
(long story)

I will share my impressions and maybe more pictures soon.
