Manga shade shop

Spent the afternoon with Roger Hunckler at Magna shade. His shop is not far from I 40 in Mocksville, NC so we decided to drop in and do an install with him.

He took the time to walk us through his process.  He has a state of the art shop where CNC makes a real difference in production and patterns.  He had our year and model in his data base but when we ordered earlier we gave him the vertical measurement as confirmation.  He has the ability to place a picture on the screen and some of the examples were really pretty original.  The magnets are laid out on an easel like board.  They take a few hours for the adhesive to set up but the process was very fast to align them etc.

No step ladder was necessary once the initial placement was finished.

Last weekend in Savannah demonstrated the need for a screen in that 90 plus heat and what was our first experience with the greenhouse effect in the front of the coach. The AC vent extensions helped but something more was/is needed.  One quick note...don't judge the business by the web site.  It is being updated.

Roger really has a strong background in the RV community and it made for a lively and fun afternoon.
