Changes coming to mobile Sat TV

Please see the attached article summarizing upcoming changes to Sat TV. Looks like the Tracstar and Motosat will no longer work in 2017. I was also told by a Sat Ant company that sometime in 2017 that my Tracstar would no longer work.

My Tracstar stopped working 2 weeks ago. My buddies Tracstar also quit working and my dads quit also. My dads did start working as he got about 100 miles North of our hometown of Lafayette, La. I have been talking to different people with Tracstar and KVH and I am told that the new satellites in the sky are lower than the old ones and the Tracstar doesn't know to look that low. Being that Tracstar is no longer made there is no software update available. The Winegard, KVH, etc... should still work fine but may need a software update depending on how old it is.
