Replacing the in dash monitor

In my 1996 U-270, I have old black/white in-dash montior display (showing rear view and status display of tanks) and it is having problem (fuzzy displays) so I got 7" flat LCD display from Amazon that have two video inputs.

I am guessing a video input line from backup camera, but I am not sure about status display video line, is the status display intelligence circuit contained inside that old B/W display?

Thanks

On my new 7" LCD display, it has two video inputs (1 for backup camera and 1 for status display), ground, 12v and reverse light 12v (I'll skip that reverse light wire).

In my 96 U320, the video feed to the display came from the audit computer, which was installed on a board under the center part of the dash. Pull up at the rear edge of the dash will lift the hinged piece. Under there you will see the computer on the piece of plywood. Pull the plywood up and it will slide out. Feeding into the computer are the wires going to the tanks and the coax wire coming from the rear view camera.

just wire the new monitor to the same line that comes from your selector switch. then it works just like the old one.
