Slide pin disable switch?

Trying to help my brother in law with his 2001 42' tag axle U320 with single slide.  Slide is in, appears to be going in a slight bit too far, so pins won't engage.  Does any one know where the override switch is located on this coach?  Manual says it's in the bay, but can't find it.  Any help would be appreciated.

It is a rocker switch in the silver box on the roof of the first bay. Try rocking the top of the slide as it is searching to pin. It can't come in too far so it is the room in sensor.

What override switch are you looking for?

Mine is not a rocker switch.

The one to override the slide out inter-locks and get into travel mode is located on the side of one of your HWH boxes in the basement.  It is a round switch that takes a small screwdriver to operate.  It says "120 220" on it.  I believe the "220" position is the override and the "120" position is the normal position.

I would be very, very careful if you are planning to move the coach without the pins locked.

Many thanks for the input.  The coach is in his driveway, he just needs to move it a few feet.  He has had the slide in and out several times with the same result--- the pins attempt to operate but don't engage.  The slide bladder was just replaced at Foretravel a few months ago, may be an adjustment issue.

I would still try to shake the top of the slide by pushing on it a bit and see I'd it senses room in.

We used 4 people to get our slide locked when this happened. Two people inside, one at each end of the slide to push the top out slightly. One outside to see when the slide was out evenly. One at the control panel to activate the pins. It worked.

Talke to HWH tech. He said as long as the bladder inflates and stays inflated, no problem traveling even if top pins not in.

On our coach the override is an unmarked toggle switch inside the control box on roof of the bay.
