Aqua-hot question

I find that I am able to get hot water without any heat sources being turned on for better than 24 hours, being parked and hooked up to 50 amp service.  Outside daytime temps running low 90's.  How can this be?
Thanks,
Mike

Heater on.  1500 watt.

Your lower red led panel under the voltmeter should show the draw as a minus load when the element is on.

Electric heater light is not on.

I think (at least on our coach) switch for electric heat operates a relay.  Maybe bad bulb in switch or stuck relay?

Mike,  I believe Foretravel installed a relay in the kitchen cabinet somewhere that provides 120 vac to the electric element.

My guess is something has that relay closed energizing the element.

Turning off the circuit breaker for the electric element is a work around till you find the problem.  Running the element all the time does not hurt the heater.

Hope this helps you.

When I turn the switch on, the light comes on and I can hear a 'click' of some sort.  I will try the circuit breaker and see if that stops the hot water.
Thanks,
