leaking coolant antifreeze

Good day everyone. seeking some input.I noticed a bright red puddle on the ground from the aqua hot belly bay door.I opened to find a small pool of anti freeze(engine). I found a small elbow leaking from the motor supply line into the aqua hot. I removed the antifreeze into a bucket, blew out the line into a bucket on the other end.Cleaned up the fitting and soft soldered the joint. It did
not take.I believe the elbow may be cracked. No real big deal. I put the two 3/4 heater hose connections together. I capped off the inbound and outbound lines into the aqua hot.I would just like to know if I will do any damage to the coil part, because there will be no coolant running through that coil and I will be using the aqua hot for heat.I will take the whole thing apart in the spring and fix it correctly. Thanks Bob

Bob,

Just a copper tubing coil partially full of engine coolant, not competely empty.

You will be fine with it bypassed.  There may be cut off valves on these hoses at the engine.  Some manufactures install them and some do not.  Do not know Foretravels choice on this.
