Why would you put a 3rd valve on a Progressive surge protector????

 The previous owner on my RV installed a PVC ball valve, I believe it is 3 inch. I actually like it better than the gate valves. I think it is more robust, and less chance of build up.

We can't  have a 3rd valve so I guess I took a left turn.

I got requests for PVC ball valve. It was done by previous owner....I would've done a neater job, but it works. I've also caught 2 mice so far!

Krush, you need to put the door seal strip back on the drop down sewer cover as maybe that is how they get in??

That giant ball valve looks like a GREAT solution!

If I were to install the ball valve, I'd probably do threaded, so it could be replaced (unlikely, though). The person the previous owner hired to do it just cut the PVC and glued the valve in between.

Maybe not enough clearance to spin a threaded valve for installion?  Handle would hit the floor on mine, or would stick out too far.

What cement glues abs to pvc?

Oatey makes a transition cement for PVC to ABS.
