U240 Heater / Air control

During my monitor replacement, I removed the heater/air control unit to give me more room as I am making a larger hole for the new monitor. Do you think a quick spray of Corrosion X would be a good lubricant for the sliders etc? or???

I second that-silicone.
I know I mentioned Corrosion x but after thinking (I do that s o m etimes!!) use silicone as you do not need sticky dust etc.
