We have the Wineguard Pathway X2 dish. Works great. I only wish I could say the same for Dish customer service. That part sucks.

Agree totally on the Dish customer service. I have been with them

continuously since their first six months in business and have watched

the level of service go down as their prices have climbed dramatically.

Their attitude is, so what if you leave there will be two others to take

your place. Sad-

Plus, I would like to get the channels I want and not a "bundle" (which means

a bundle of unwanted garbage for a bundle of cash). I could care less about

Child Birth classes in Korean.

I agree, we have to have a elevated bundle so we can watch only a couple of channels we like. (Like NASCAR).

Agree with lack of quality service and high cost.  A couple of years back I got sucked into paying an extra $100 for lifetime HD service.

Don't blame just one, they are all the same if you have a problem, one reason I keep unlimited time on our Verizon phone (who have been the only ones to get to the point, if I have a query). Being Irish/American, I have a short fuse for someone wasting my time, while they're getting paid. The DW knows when the steam is coming and I "ask for a supervisor" to grab the phone.  ^.^d

We have a Trac Star. I was a satellite installer. Installed ton's of them. In my opinion, and many other installer friends, it was the best dish out there.
FYI trac Star is out of business, and this guy bought what was left over. Will @ 352 274 4507.
I wouldn't put any money in it. With Directv, ours still locks and tracks on 101, but no longer switches to 119 and stays locked.I can stop it on 119, but it won't stay or track in motion. So we subscribe to the LA nets. They are on 101, so everything is fine.
I just helped Roland (the people we bought our Ft from) in Lodi. He had dishnet. He just bought a 2008 FT with a Trac Star. I got his dishnet receiver to lock onto 110, but it wouldn't stay. It would try to identify, then go looking again. I could stop it, it would stay on 110. But programming was limited, and no HD.
So we installed a winegaurd traveler. See picks
Change it to a winegaurd dome, or if in motion is no issue, get a Taveler HD. I plan to run ours till it quit's, then sadly throw it in the trash.
If your sat guy can't get the part, call Will. He doesn't have very good bedside manner. I am sure he is getting hammered over the whole Trac Star issue.
